Ayesha Takia (born August 20, 1986 in Mumbai, India) is a Bollywood actress.
Biography She was born on 10th April 1986 and raised in Bombay. Currently she stays in her house on Veera Desai Road in Bombay. Ayesha comes from a mixed family. Her father is Gujarati, and her mother is half British and half Maharashtrian. She is a pure vegetarian. Ayesha had to learn Hindi in order to do films, but only needed to learn diction because she came from a family where they spoke only English at home.In her free time, she enjoys listening to stories, listening to music, reading, spending time with family, long drives, and sitting at cafés over conversation with people she likes.
She has done ads since age 4. By now she has done 60 ads. Her first Music Video was Phalguni Pathak's "Meri Chunar Udd Udd Jaye" when she was 15. Then came "Shake it Daddy" which brought her lot of recognition. 'Socha na tha' is the first movie she signed up for. But it got delayed and her other movie 'Taarzan' claimed as Ayesha's first movie in bollywood. She has also worked in Telgu movie 'Super' which released in January 2006.
Career
This beautiful talented young girl started her career at the age 17. In her first year of her career, she won the Filmfare Sensational Debut Award 2004 for her performance in Taarzan: The Wonder Car and Dil Maange More.
She became a favorite amongst youngsters through the portrayal of her movies such as Socha Na Tha and multi-starrer Shaadi No.1.
In 2006, Ayesha Takia was amongst the Top Ten on the listing of India's 50 Most Desirable Women Alive, a poll conducted by Zoom, an Indian tv channel
